Recipe Ingredients

• Chick peas 1 cup
• Red lentil  ½ cup
• Green chilies chopped 4
• Baking soda 1 tsp
• All spice powder 1 tsp
• Roasted white cumin powder 1 tbsp
• Red chili crushed 1 tbsp
• Tamarind paste 2 tbsp
• Garlic powder 2 tbsp
• Oil 2 tbsp
• Salt to taste

Recipe Method

1. Soak 1 cup chick peas in lukewarm water. Then drain the water and again put it in fresh lukewarm water to cook with ½ cup red lentil. When chick peas starts to tender add 1 tsp baking soda with salt to taste, 2 tbsp dry garlic, 1 tbsp red chili crushed, 1 tbsp roasted white cumin powder, 1 tsp all spice powder, 2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp tamarind paste and 4 chopped green chilies to cook for 5 to 10 minutes and serve with pouri.
